After an early career in diamond exploration and mining in Africa with De Beers Diamonds, Russell Fowler, returned to the UK to work in a variety of sectors for major blue-chip companies; Wellcome, BP, Logica, Bristol Myers Squibb, R J Reynolds and easyJet. He has been a director on group, regional and UK business boards for over 20 years, covering most areas of the world and living abroad.
Russell’s focus is to develop strategic relationships with top quality OEMs, distributors worldwide, business development and Russell has been a school governor several times, chairman of a competitive swimming club and leads charity programmes deep into Botswana with the Bushmen of the Kalahari, Okavango Delta and Tsodilo Hills.
Until founding FDG, Veronica’s career was as an expert in the identification of kimberlitic-indicator minerals and surface textures in the diamond prospecting industry. Veronica hails from South Africa, having lived in the UK, Botswana and Russia.
Veronica looks after all aspects of customer service, from enquiry to delivery, and has responsibility for worldwide production planning. She has a detailed knowledge of the technical evolution of FDG’s anti-siphons.
Worked as Maintenance Engineer in Food industry for four years, whilst undertaking independent studies.
Achieved Mechanical Design Engineer position and rose to senior position managing a team of Engineers, working on non-destructive testing equipment. Moved to the UK and joined FDG in 2015, being promoted to Technical Manager in 2016.
After finishing her GCSE’s at school, Louise joined a security company initially starting as their Office Apprentice.
She has worked within the security industry for 6 years, in that time completed two apprenticeships in Business and Administration and one in Marketing.
After leaving her previous company as their Sales and Marketing Executive, she Joined FDG at the start of 2018 and is responsible for FDG’s Sales and Marketing.
Susanna brings over 15 years of experience in heading Operations for international companies, including start-ups, relocations and new builds; structuring and firming up existing operations, encompassing areas such as compliance, HR, finance, legal, insurance, contract and lease negotiations, procurement, due diligence, personnel/office/facilities/events management, H&S, marketing, recruitment, fleet management/logistics, company secretariat to name a few.
Having studied Business Management and Administration, Susanna’s professional experience has been gained in operational roles within a variety of sectors, including Wealth Management, Energy & Utilities, Legal, Management Consultancy, Banking, Design, IT and Construction.
Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with BSc in Automotive Design Technology. During study, interned at SBD Company, working in the Connected Car sector on telematics and new technology for implementation in vehicles.
Ran his own small business, launching an eBay shop to sell stickers and decals designed and produced himself. Joined FDG in 2016 on an internship, which developed into a full-time role.
Graduated from University of Bucharest with BA in Communication Sciences, Communication and Media Studies. Continued studies to achieve MSc in Corporate Communications from University of West London.
Worked as Sales Team Leader at Kreative Client Solutions, generating customer service and new development deals for ADT. Worked at Green Cave People on market research and brand awareness.
Joined FDG in 2014 in basic administrative role, becoming Customer Service Assistant recently to meet the demands of sales and act as a customer liaison.
Graduated with a Masters in International Management (MIM) from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), Mark Thomas Ford worked with a multinational company throughout Latin America and Europe as a business and product development specialist.
In 2002, he returned to Panama where he started his company specialising in control, security and cash management solutions.
Mark is actively involved with security topics and issues in the logistics industry with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce of Panama, the American Chamber of Commerce, and BASC. He is also Vice President of the Gift of Life Foundation of Panama, an organization who helps underprivileged families get lifesaving procedures for children with congenital heart defect.
Klaus Czypull is a qualified electrical engineer with nearly forty years of work experience and has performed in a range of jobs in the automotive industry in Germany.
He knows the German automotive market well and has proven experience of establishing contact with company decision-makers. Klaus has always had an interest in British market activities and has been a successful door opener for FuelDefend Global for whom he is currently acting for as technical sales manager in Germany.
Alberto Villegas is a Business Administration Bachelor with 25 years experience in the broadest Automotive Industry within the OEM and Aftermarket sectors interecating and representing local, regional and international companies.
He has contacts with the aftermarket sector AND major fleets in Mexico, Alberto to provides operational and cost saving solutions. Focussed on customers in Mexico, Alberto also links into the USA and Central America
Graduated from the Military Institute in Moscow, MA in International Communication and Linguistics. After honourable discharge from the Army worked in several German and American companies (construction and road construction machinery). Continued studies to achieve EMBA in the University of Antwerp Business School.
He is now the General Director of OOO KoMet (Moscow / Russia) selling various fire fighting, rescue and safety equipment including FDG anti-siphon devices.
After emigrating from the UK to Australia 17 years ago, Edwin Higginson has worked at some well-known Australian Logistics businesses such as Toll, Linfox and Qube, to the level of General Manager in Operations and in Fleet Management. He has also gained a Degree in Structural Engineering, a Masters in Operational Management and a Masters in Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate school in Sydney.
In 2017, Edwin founded 'Transport and Fleet Specialists' business to help Transport companies in the Asia Pacific region look for ways of improving their financial performance through improved Operational efficiencies, including better fuel security. Through his search for the leading products worldwide, Edwin began to work with FDG and became the Asia Pacific Sales Manager to introduce our range of products into Australia and New Zealand.
